Charlotte Makes Photos

The sun was out on Friday morning and — the forecast being less friendly than I’d hoped — I knew that I needed to get out to enjoy it. I didn’t know where exactly, since my mind was mostly on our plans that evening for dinner (Ahora on Dalhousie!¹) and a movie (Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma!²).

In the end, I had a vague idea that I would walk down into The Glebe, choose one of the numbered streets (I chose Third Ave.) to head west on, turn back north just before Bronson (I chose Percy), and maaaaaayyybe stop in at Arlington 5 for a nice beverage (iced toasted coconut oat latte).

1. Tasty! Kathleen had never been and the last time I had been was in a previous-previous life, around 2006. On the plus side, it was nice to see a menu with so many vegan options. On the down side, it was achieved by simply removing cheese and sour cream from those already-vegetarian items. Still: it was very tasty and we’ll still be back. ↩︎
2. That might have been the first time I’ve ever been seen in a movie. I suppose that makes sense, given the writer and director. ↩︎
