Friday was once again sunny, so my plan was to get out again to take advantage. Instead of another roll of Ektachrome, however, I decided to use one of the three rolls of Provia I purchased earlier this year during that brief moment when Fuji deems us worthy and releases a few morsels of slide film to the world.
Since I have had trouble with Velvia 100 and fresh-dated Provia wasn’t available to me last year, I wanted to ensure that the rolls I have are good before using them for this year’s Pride-related activities.
Friday’s walk was just a slow meander through Old Ottawa East and South. The sun was shining, the weather lovely, and outside of the various tradesmen-with-lingering eyes (50% disgust, 30% inquiry, 20% probable chaser), it was just the walk I was looking for.
Most importantly, it was the confirmation I was hoping for that my Provia was in top shape.
