Unsurprising to almost nobody, Ottawa’s downtown remains largely quiet on Friday afternoons. Since we have not been ordered back to the office all five days of the week (yet) most who have the flexibility seem to choose Fridays as one of their work-from-home days.

Although I don’t have that sort of flexibility, I have to admit, I don’t mind working in the office on Fridays. It’s quieter, there is less competition for cubicles, and there are no lineups for the kitchenette’s single slow kettle.

On the down side, where photo-making is concerned, I often end up with something that looks and feels just a little too much like it did in 2020 and 2021. A time I’d rather not have to experience again.
