On our first full day in the city, heat dome intensifying, we decided that our first goal for the day was to visit the Riverdale Farm!
Neither of us had ever been, but I had heard about it many times growing up and, of course, it didn’t escape us that there were at least a few Kids in the Hall sketches1 filmed there (and nearby) and, located nearby, was the Ciccones’ home on Seeing Things, one of our favourite bits of 1980s CanCon.
Fortunately, it was no real bother to get there: our hotel on Gerrard, so it was a (mostly) direct walk east.
