A Warm Summer Palette For Winter

·

,

While it wouldn’t be accurate to say that I don’t make colour photos during the winter, my use of colour film certainly slows down! In spite of the heavy overcast and threat of 12mm worth of “wintry mix” (spoiler: it was just rain by the time it came), I decided that I wanted to make my photos on Kodak Gold.

I was expecting to be a little more cool on the results, but ended up being a little surprised. I don’t …hate them. Gold’s warmer balance really helped to reflect the sort of brown-ish hue the world outside has taken on during the recent warm spell.
