(It has been a while since I posted some photos from last year’s visit to Halifax!)

The following day, we were going to do something we hadn’t really managed to do yet: visit the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum (when it was open). In addition to the fact that we find historical re-creation villages, farms, forts, and homesteads a whole lot of fun to visit, it just so happens that Kathleen worked there before finding her way out to Ontario, which made it a nostalgia-packed morning for her.

Also: if you know me, you will know that I find the basic farm animals just so delightful.

Especially chickens!
