Our second adventure on Saturday was Taste of Wellington, which bills itself as the world’s longest street festival. While we weren’t certain that such a statement could withstand much scrutiny, the neighbourhood was quite busy with people enjoying themselves.

Admittedly, we were a little ambivalent about going, but we knew that we didn’t want to be inside on such a lovely afternoon. And besides, I had noticed on Instagram that to raise funds for the Parkdale Food Centre, they would “catify” your ice cream for an extra dollar.

…which is something we most certainly did and was the highlight of our little afternoon adventure. ☺️
