Really, we’re more like a large town (or small city) with a love for all that is suburban. What I really wanted to do was work the film’s name into the title somewhere: Lomochrome Metropolis.
As an on-this-day gallery, I mostly remember spending June 2022 excited for our upcoming trip to Montréal. I had just come out that April and Kathleen and I made plans for a nice little getaway and for me to get my ears pierced at a place she liked there. It was also nice after two years in a pandemic to go somewhere else.
What’s fun is that today, in 2026, I’m also looking forward to an upcoming visit to Montréal. Which is again in no small part for something to do with transition. Instead of two basic lobe piercings, I will be having surgery!
It has been a long time coming!
