“You’re all winners to me!”
I mean, five years ago today, I remember the weather was lovely. I remember the walk along the river and back up again was nice. I remember being disappointed that we didn’t see a turtle around the pathway. I remember it being kind of neat that I had the opportunity to use equivalent films from three manufacturers.
As much as I enjoy trying films that are no longer manufactured, it was only fun when they were available for very little cost. As is the case with so many things related to, well, any hobby, the prices being demanded for expired films exceeds fresh for those that are still made today and are often listed for an order of magnitude greater than their selling price when they were fresh.
I doubt that many are actually paying some of the exorbitant rates I see places like eBay.
…at least I am not.
