After what felt like a bit of a delay, this May Long kicked off “real” Spring with an explosion of colour.

Since Kathleen and I have been out and about more lately, we hadn’t made any particular plans for our Saturday Adventure outside of knowing that “it should be somewhere we haven’t gone lately”. Without knowing exactly, this meant east of the Canal, rather than west or south.

What I did know is that we were expecting a sunny 22°C and I was anxious to make photos of flowers. So with that, we decided that we’d meander a little around our neighbourhood, cross the Corktown footbridge, and meander a little through Sandy Hill, stopping in at the Happy Goat at Wilbrod and Friel to a linger a spell over a nice beverage.
