After a nice time lingering at Ethica over beverages, my sister and I turned our attention to what we were going to have for dinner since it was getting into the later part of the afternoon. While she was willing to have anything I wanted, I was of two minds…
On one hand, the slightly *~* neurodiverse *~* part of me loves order and efficiency in my routes. Since we were already out around The Junction Triangle, I thought that Taqueria Vegana sounded rather tasty.
On the other hand, while I do love tacos (and we make them at home a fair amount), I was much more curious as to how vegan sushi would be achieved, since we were not well-versed in seafood replacements.
In the end, my desire for sushi won out over the aversion to back-tracking, and we decided to pay a visit to Tenon Vegan Sushi on Bloor, near Bathurst.
Tenon Vegan Sushi. …will have to come back ☺️

It was really tasty and we will be back next time we’re in Toronto. Or will try Momo, a Toronto location of the popular Montréal shop. We’ll have to see. Either way, it was a winner!
Following a very tasty dinner, we decided to wander a little more around Bloor. To be sure, it was mostly so I could make photos and my sister wanted to show me a great second-hand book shop, which was unfortunately closed for inventory.
To soothe this grave emotional injury (being denied books), I steered us into an outlet of a loathed and ubiquitous second-hand clothing store, from which two cute floral summer dresses followed me back home.
That seems to happen often when the weather improves.1
And of course, since it’s a short trip, things are following me home! I must hope that I can manifest Summer with more summer dresses, ‘cause that’s all I’ve been buying lately!

- It was still frigid that day, but the wind had died down and the sun was out. I felt emboldened. ↩︎
