They were too busy doting over a table of seniors who were ordering hot soup and coffee on a 30C day to remember the sweaty transsexual and her partner they were serving (at least in theory) at a nearby table. Eventually, we were able to flag someone down and just settle our bill instead of lingering any longer.

Filled mostly with disappointment, we decided to walk back to our hotel for a little time in the air conditioning and to freshen up before meeting our friends for dinner.
