Yesterday was cold. Too cold. After showering, I got dressed and took a look out the kitchen window only to see the flags outside of a nearby hotel fully perpendicular to their mast and only to feel cold air passing through the leaks in the mostly-frosted 54-year-old windows.
Right then.
Hard. Pass.
It would be an indoor day of hobbies and housework then. Perhaps putting the lesson from my last cross-processed roll to good use and meter another of my old rolls of Velvia 1001 at 320 for cross-processing.
It turns out that 320 seems to be a pretty good place to be where exposure is concerned. Colour work on them remains a challenge that I might not have as much patience for as I ought to though.
…and no amount of colour practice can help me being someone who finds her photographic inspiration outside of the home.

- I purchased them in 2021 when they were just expired for a good price and they mostly spent time in the fridge (and then freezer) until last Fall. Unfortunately, when developed in E6, they just don’t look all that good. Not wanting to waste the rolls, I’ve been using them for cross-processing. ↩︎
