Outside of the punitive heat being held in by Cabbagetown’s legacy of cultivated greenery, we took away one lesson from our little visit to Riverdale Farm: pigs get the zoomies!

Pigs! Zoomies!

We were working our way back toward the entrance from The Residence at the back. As is usual when I’m around farm animals, I was delighting in their presence because I had misplaced a few of my accumulated decades somewhere along the way.¹

We passed through one of the barns and found our way toward the pig pen where the two reddish-brown pigs were chasing after each other and otherwise just running around having fun!

What a lovely way to wrap up our visit!
