There was one reason. One reason I had for putting a roll of film into the Pentax Espio 90MC.

Yes, the one I received for free in 2021 from a local camera shop that was winding down operations and was including free cameras with purchase.
Even if the lens didn’t have a hazy front element, it’s very slow and not particularly sharp. The camera is loud and fussy and eats not-so-cheap CR2 batteries and the autofocus is prone to inexplicable flights of fancy.
(It was free for a reason.)
…but none of those deficiencies mattered this week because my one criteria was that it fits in my purse!
Knowing that this week was a classic December mix of bad weather and appointments, photo-making was strictly about being able to when the mood struck.
