Today, I have another “on this day” to share. This time, it was one year ago today that I took a little walk around the neighbourhood after work to make photos of the snow.
On the theme of becoming soft as time goes on, we’ve had a bit of a cold snap lately (i.e. -20C/-27C with the wind), which continues to put a bit of a damper on the photographic adventures.
Neither loading a roll into the F80 during the day nor the clear-as-a-bell skies could get me to bring a camera with me after work today while out to pick up our groceries! All I had to do was look at the weather conditions, see that it was -12C (-23C with the wind) and I knew it would be a quick in-and-out.
If nothing comes through the rest of the work-week, at least we have Saturday when Kathleen and I will be making the short trip out to Almonte for a bit of shopping, a nice lunch, and a visit to the Mississippi Valley Textile Museum. Our own little Hallmark Christmas lesbian adventure!
