Lingering At Lake Huron’s North Channel

Written by

Like most people, I don’t actually enjoy scanning my film. It can be tedious and repetitive. Not to mention slow. It’s especially slow if you’re using home-user type scanners like I am.

It’s also the only way I’ve found to get the results that I want!

I remember fairly well when I got the scans back from a vacation we took to Manitoulin Island in 2021 that the black and whites did not meet my expectations.

Thinking of this vacation recently (the last time I saw my dad before he would pass in 2023), I decided to revisit and re-scan the rolls to see whether I could get something more pleasing from them.

At least for this roll, I think so!
