The second of a total of three times I’ve used a Leica had me using the Leica R8. Sure, the R8 (and succeeding R9) is not the most attractive modern SLR, but once I began using it, I was pleasantly surprised at what a joy it was to actually use. Unfortunately, at least by my Read.
