This past week (the fifth since surgery!) began with glorious summer sun. Energized, I was more than happy to get myself out of the house a little more than I had the past week. Feeling so buoyed by the nice weather, I decided that a visit to Herb & Spice was in order. There were some 🍙 miso tofu onigiri 🍙 calling our names.

Unfortunately, the more energized by glorious summer weather, the greater the risk I am for (minor) complications to arise. While I thought I was taking things easy this past week, I might have been a little too energized by good weather (and good music), and now I have a little extra healing to do in an area where healing well is already a challenge.

We take three months for recovery for a reason, I suppose.
