Since I’m not a runner (no thanks), I couldn’t support Monday’s extra day off by putting the run in May Run. And I don’t really drink, so I was not about to put the 2-4 in the May 2-4 weekend either. We’d just have to settle for a nice walk in glorious warm weather we were given on Monday. We had no particular plans, so it was just a matter of going for a walk around the neighbourhood after lunch.

We did stop in at a coffee shop that we had never tried before for a tasty beverage, but since the service was slow (30 minutes for two drinks?), disorganized (nobody seemed to get the right order), had an unclear menu (“pistachio” did not refer to pistachio milk despite being among the other dairy replacements), and mediocre (“we waited a half hour for that?”), it will remain nameless and we will not be back. Cute spot though. Perfect for the local influencers.
