Hot on the heels of Bluesky’s #FP4Party came the annual #PolaroidWeek which, while not limited to (or even centred on) that platform, is where I learned about it.

It is not often that I use Polaroid. In fact, 2024 was the first time I had ever used it. I got curious when I received it as part of the disposal of my Dad’s estate after he died near the end of 2023. I don’t think he had ever used it either: just something he picked up at a rummage sale or at a flea market for a price he was happy with.

So to participate in this year’s round, I purchased one 8-photo pack (I’m trying to be responsible here!) and saved it for one of this week’s sunny days after work.

It might look like it thanks to the route I took, but for once, I was not on a kitty food mission. Instead, I was seeing whether or not any nearby grocery stores here have the Beyond breakfast sausage patties in stock. (No.)
