Rare for this time of year, we were treated to a sunny and melty day yesterday. Without any strong plans, we decided that we would just go for a nice little walk to Old Ottawa East for a visit to Café Qui Pense for a nice warm beverage and Singing Pebble Books for a little browsy-boo. Kathleen was also on a little mission to pick up some clay for a face mask, so we stopped in at Nu Grocery, who has a nice selection.

The real hero of the day was the sun. As soon as we left our apartment and felt the warmth of the sun, we just about went into full turtle mode and just basked.

It’s just a shame that it’s snowy and overcast again today.

March is a real tease!
