Contrast! She Was Out To Get Some Contrast

Written by

Well, if I wasn’t, I certainly had a funny way of showing it! Choosing Foma Ortho at any time is a recipe for contrast and that is certainly what I received.

Being Ottawa and being the first day of Spring, we were treated to a tidy little snow storm – Winter’s reminder that it’s merely astronomical Spring and that nobody’s yet been tasked with implementing Spring 2026 down here.

Like every year, we can expect implementation of Spring to begin in the next six-to-eight weeks. We’re never last in line, but my crab apple blossom photos seem to come late in the cycle!

After having not made any photos since last Sunday, I decided on Friday to pack a camera in my work bag so that I could make photos while out on errands after my day had ended. Knowing that it would be overcast, I chose the only faster black-and-white I had left in the fridge.
