After risking a permanent lobstering the day before, we decided that the next day would possibly feature a little more indoor time.

We began the day with some breakfast at the outlet of a small regional chain on Bay Street where, while the breakfast was pretty good, we had the misfortune of the adjacent booth being settled into by a small group of very very privileged women who took it upon themselves to ensure that the restaurant’s small staff was going to work hard that morning.

For such a cavernous restaurant, we did wonder why they decided on the booth next to us. I still sometimes wonder!

We were still a little on the early side once we finished, so we decided to take a little loop around before paying visit to the Bata Shoe Museum, which is usually a must-stop for us when we’re in town!
