At some point nearing the end of the 2000s, my Dad purchased a camper trailer and began doing the seasonal thing at a campground at Manitoulin Island. I think he spent the first few seasons trying out campgrounds around the island, but eventually settled on Mindemoya Court, where he became something of a fixture – one of the regulars – until he died in 2023.
