I’m referring to the biggest of the spotlights, the sun!

It was a little bit of a challenge for Kathleen and I to trust that our “visitors” – the “visitors” we sought distance from in Nova Scotia that winter – were well and truly gone.

Aside from their regular commitments to return, they would invariably set up another camp on the rural property of some sympathizer just out of town and scheme.

This meant that although we were more than happy to return home, it was hard to really get out and about as we might have before the event.

Still, Spring’s wiles were hard to resist, so while we tended to be a little on edge during the weeks following our return, we could not help but get ourselves out to enjoy the sunshine after being holed up in a basement for a good part of the Winter!
