Well, it’s isn’t really.

I watched His Girl Friday (1940) for what must be the fifteenth or twentieth time this past Saturday and the socialist concept (misunderstood by the Earl Williams character in the movie) popped into mind when seeking a title for this post.

On Thursday while Kathleen was out at an appointment, I looked at the forecast again (clouds, snow), and decided that it was time to develop a roll of slide using the last of my kit’s 8-roll capacity. I’d rather take a chance on a few domestic frames than allow the chemistry – which I mixed nearly seven weeks ago – to go off.

And with that, I am out of E6 chemistry and will have to wait until it becomes available to me once again. I’m not in any rush just for the moment: we seem to be expecting clouds, rain, and snow for the next while.

Hardly ideal conditions for slide film.
