Our flight home from Halifax was comfortable and uneventful. It even somehow managed to feel like it went by quicker than the two hours it takes. All I know is that we were anxious to get home!
One package that was sitting on my desk when we got into the apartment was from Studio Argentique in Montreal: the E6 developer I ordered while away. I still had an entire week off and I was itching (yet apprehensive) to give it a try.
Before I exposed the expired roll of Velvia 100 to use as my tester, I had actually gone for a walk around the neighbourhood with a roll of fresh(er) Ektachrome, a hand-rolled motion picture version of the stock sometimes made available for a lower price.
After successfully developing the roll of Velvia, I was emboldened to develop this roll, which I had exposed three days earlier.
Another success!
As slide is quite expensive, at least until the novelty wears off (or we get cloudy), my bank account may be at some risk!
