A quick walk down Portland from Sullivan’s Pond, and we were ready for a little lunchy-boo! It was a beautiful day, so we decided on Stone Pizza to go, so we could sit at the waterfront. Kathleen and I had the dill pickle pizza and Mom, a Greek. All quite tasty!
For Mom, one thing that hasn’t been so necessary since relocating is driving. While she brought her vehicle with her from Ontario, she’s in a fairly urban area where nearly all of her needs are fulfilled on foot. That’s how it works for Kathleen and I too.
More often than not, it sits in the parking garage, waiting for a drive that doesn’t happen.
To give it a little drive time, she offered that we take the car for the balance of the week, which we accepted. It would work out for all concerned, since our little day trip the following day would be to Lunenburg, about 90 minutes out of town.
