This will be the last post here for the next week or so. Kathleen and I will be in Halifax visiting family. While I will be making plenty of photos when there, I will only be able to develop them when I get back.
These photos were made during a quick little walk around the neighbourhood on Thursday. My main goal was to make more photos of the decorative kale that the National Capital Commission planted in one of the flower beds along the Rideau Canal (photo no. 3 above). With their purple stalks and curly deep green leaves, they render beautifully on black and white film.
This was also the last roll of negative film I have in 120! No more colour or black-and-white. Since I still have a sizable stash of slide in the freezer, it’s time to work on it. I will not purchase any more 120 until I get myself an E-6 kit and begin using it.
