‘It looks lonely.’

At least that’s what I told myself when I saw it there alone on the shelf at Henry’s. I had gone in for another roll or two of Kodak Gold and saw the second iteration of Harman’s Phoenix film on the shelf all by its lonesome.

While the temperatures have gone down, the days have been sunny, so it seemed like Tuesday would be as good a time as any to try.

With no real adventure in mind, I zig-zagged around Centretown, looking for photo opportunities before picking up food for the cats. Since we’ll be away, the load of cans would be pretty heavy and I didn’t want to weigh myself down before getting through the roll.

In the end, I found it quite similar to Phoenix I, but some of the colouring is a little closer to natural. It is likely that I will use it again and, like many others, hope that they continue to iterate on what looks to be a promising film!
