Somewhat unexpected, but as August has given way to September, a fall chill has set in. In more recent years, it has been the case that summer temperatures have a habit of lingering well into September, even passing the celestial season’s hint that it’s over.
It seems that *we* did not get the hint either.
On the way to my morning brow appointment, it quickly became clear to the both of us that we were under-dressed for the weather and both found ourselves quite chilly. No tights, no cardigans, and no hats made for two chilly ladies!
We fixed this chill in the best way we knew: a lunch of soup! This also gave the temperature outside the time to get a little more comfortable and us the opportunity to get something warmer on. Back out we went!
