In Desperate Need Of More Light

Oh gosh! That sure didn’t turn out the way I was hoping!

As I wrote earlier, I recently picked up a few expired mystery rolls of colour negative film with the intent of having a little fun an using up the remainder of a C-41 development kit I don’t get along with.

This time, it was a roll of Kodak Max 400 that I should not have metered at 250. In hindsight, I am not sure why I did not go with at most 125 or even less.

I feel a little bad about it, since our lunch at Gongfu Bao (where we had one braised tofu and one jackfruit each) was one of those super magical moments and will come to define Pride for me. The food, the mood, the vibes: all immaculate.
