Pasta earrings in hand, err, box, we were getting a bit hungry.

After learning that Maipai would definitely not be a possibility (the next reservation was available June 1!), we decided that since we were heading home the next morning, that we’d just eat closer to the hotel and turn in early.

Which was still later than our usual!

Kathleen has been blogging about our vacation too!

I chose not to load a roll of film on Sunday morning. While we loved our time on vacation and still want to move to Toronto, we were just looking forward to getting home and sleeping in our own bed.

We decided to take the 9:30am GO Train back into Toronto. Our VIA Rail train would leave Toronto at 2:20 in the afternoon and we figured we could have VIA hold our luggage1 so we could run around near Union or explore the rabbit warren that is Union.

Perhaps more tired than we thought, we opted for the latter. This gave us a nice opportunity for a light lunch and just some downtime.

I even finished Welcome to Dorley Hall!

And here too!

And that is the end of my vacation photos!

I didn’t really stop (or even pause) making photos when we got home on May 18th, so there will be many more to come!

  1. An opportunity for an awkward snicker and some misgendering by way of confirming my legal name (soon to be changed) in a louder voice. At least our luggage was held! ↩︎
