The last time Kathleen and I visited Hamilton was in September 2018. As part of a late-summer vacation to Toronto, being curious about the city, we got on a GO train (then *sigh* a bus at Aldershot) to spend a day there. We had a lovely time exploring and seeing the sights – including a tour of Dundurn Castle – and committed to return soon for a proper visit.
And then, well…
Things happened.
Waves of things.
It wouldn’t be until this year that we would plan to return. This time? Three days, which would give us plenty of time to explore, see the sights, and perhaps visit the heroic collection of fabric stores on Ottawa street!
Since we arrived in the mid-afternoon and checked into our hotel, we thought that it would be best to make it a bit of an easy and early day. This meant a little walk down Locke Street and then some dinner close to the hotel.
