There would be one more indoor activity on our last day. A friend of ours, who was recently in Toronto herself, recommended that we pay a visit to Little Canada, which is, well, a sort of miniature version of Canada!

It was really neat! They’re sort of dioramas of various regions (Golden Horseshoe, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec, Atlantic, Pacific – Prairies and Territories to come), that are animated, have sounds, and simulated day-night cycles. In addition to just being neat (and well-executed), the countless little easter eggs all about were a hoot to spot.

My favourite was a lesbian wedding in the Atlantic, spotted thanks to a U-Haul parked outside the church!

Once we were finished with this very large tiny marvel, we went back to the hotel for a bit of a rest. For the evening, we met friends at Tha Phae Tavern, for a lovely meal and a good catch-up!

Kathleen has been blogging about our vacation too!
