Of course it’s not really surprising that we were in a walking mood. Queen West (and most of East, for that matter) is quite visually interesting and there are many interesting shops and, perhaps save for the Somerset West-Wellington-Richmond corridor, nothing really like it here.

So we continued to walk, chatter, laugh, make photos, stop for a chilled beverage, and think about what we’d want for dinner.

unlike last year, we did make it to Paper Plus Cloth for a visit!

I’m always learning when it comes to film development! That’s to be expected when you very consciously don’t take the traditional advice of learning one film and one developer very well.

In this case, I thought you must to add development time to compensate for a depletion for each roll developed in D-96 stock solution.

It turns out that you don’t!

D-96 seems to work more like C-41 developer than, for example, Mic-X or ID-11 stock solutions. It’s one reason I prefer to use one-shot dilutions, which I find more predictable. Because of this misunderstanding , I overdeveloped two other rolls of Double-X (including this one).

That makes for four of 23 rolls with over-development errors! All part of the journey!
