This Spring has been unexpectedly chilly. Although our time in Toronto was mostly sunny, there was a persistent and chilly breeze, which meant that the tights and backup cardigans I packed “just in case” were very very necessary.
We both still managed to get sunburns.
Spring can be hard to dress for!
Coming down from an active Sunday, we decided on Monday morning to head out to the Beaches neighbourhood in the east end. While Glebelike in its broad disposition (not complementary), it’s also quite pretty and – perhaps most importantly – was used for filming in a number of Littlest Hobo episodes. I also wanted to make a few photos of the R.C. Harris Water Treatment Plant, which I have never done, despite a number of leisurely walks in the neighbourhood over the years.
First things first though: after a long ride on the Queen car, our day began with a nice breakfast. A quick Kagi search for breakfast in the neighbourhood suggested Tiarré’s Brunch and Bistro, at which we both chose the Pecan Cornflake Crusted [French] Toast, which was delicious!
