Photos from Thursday’s walk home.
Admittedly, I’ve been a little inspired by the results from Monday’s walk home, where I used a 135mm lens to make photos. I do tend to get a little more sense of motion from a longer lens, and – even though it’s the most “natural” focal length to my eye – I have been getting myself into a bit of a 50mm rut.
So on Thursday, I decided to dust off the Pentax K2 again and mount a 100mm f/2.8 M to it. While the metering on this K2 has become a little off to my eye, I had a bit of fun with the extra distance.
That was also the last roll in a brick of Delta 400 that I had purchased earlier this Spring. I have really come to enjoy Delta since I began developing it in DD-X. Before I began developing, the labs would use HC-110b (which I found a little grainy/contrasty) or T-Max Developer (which I found a little flat and washed).
