Eye Examinations and Aging

So it finally happened.

It didn’t come as a surprise exactly, but the other day, I had a regular eye exam at a nearby optometrist.

And while my regular distance vision has remained stable, my closer vision has not.

I’m officially getting old!

Not yet in need of bifocals, but rather their precursor: “comfort lenses”.

It’s fine.

Really.

At least I’ll be able to hold my phone normally soon, not holding it way out!
