Crunchy.
Both the snow underfoot at -20C and the grain of this film when developed in Rodinal.
Tuesday was another one my of patented Kitty Food Missions, so I took the opportunity to make photos of the snowbanks that have accumulated around town in the last few days.
As things go when it’s well enough below freezing, I often use a more modern plastic do-it-all-for-me camera to avoid freezing my hands. Unfortunately, after development, I was reminded that the Elan II does not perform in snowy conditions quite as well as the Nikon F80.
Still, they’re not entirely without charm. And, most importantly, the cats have another two weeks of food, so I won’t find them gnawing on my foot in the morning.
