It must have been something like twenty years since I had last played with a Lego set.
It turns out that it’s still a whole lot of fun!
The set Kathleen and I purchased for our Christmas morning took quite a long time to assemble, but we had a great time doing it! We just put some movies on and followed the fairly thick instruction booklet leading us to our little downtown, squealing along the way with delight at how cute the little details were!
For a few years now, we’ve had some little Lego representations of ourselves on a shelf. The Lego Store has a sort of bin with all sorts of mini figure pieces in them, allowing us to rummage around in search of our lil’ doppelgangers. Until now, they never had a dedicated place to put them!
The photo above has the lil’ Kathleen looking out over the city from a balcony at the vaguely Deco (or Moderne) hotel on the corner of our constructed streetscape.
