Sometimes I can be a little dense.

Well, at least my film can be.

I developed this roll of Ilford Ortho+ for 12:15 at 20C (as called for in the dev chart) and, well, they came out d e n s e.

While it’s possible that the dev chart may be off some (it happens!), it’s also possible that my water temperature was warmer than I had measured and I just didn’t didn’t exercise the necessary patience to make sure that it was actually 20 and not higher.

While not entirely to my taste, I was able to pull things along in SilverFast somewhat. Plenty of blown highlights though, which is certainly my biggest pet peeve.
