
Recently, I tried developing a roll in ID-11 stock solution, rather than diluting it to 1+3 for one-shot as I have been doing. Since I was not entirely satisfied with the results (highlights!), I decided to use the rest of what I have diluted. Because of this, I also figured that I had to add 10% to the developing time as one would when reusing the stock.
In any event, while I definitely like lighting/exposure, I did see a real increase in grain beyond what I’d otherwise expect from Tri-X. Ah well. I needed a little success after last weekend, and I’ll take this as a provisional recovery.
